IDB Group Financing Success Stories to Come under Spotlight in Khartoum

29.03.2012, Khartoum, Sudan - A seminar on highlighting success stories of “Financing and Business Opportunities Provided by the Islamic Development Bank Group” is to open on 31 March 2012 in Khartoum. The event, to convene at the “Africa Hall”, the International Conference Center, is scheduled in conjunction with the upcoming 37th Annual Meeting of the Islamic Development Bank’s Board of Governors to be held in the Sudanese capital (April 3-4, 2012).

The objective of the seminar is to raise awareness amongst local and international business communities on products and services offered by the IDB Group. It further aims to showcase the Bank’s major initiatives, programs, as well as its financing and business opportunities in its 56 member countries including leading infrastructural projects in Sudan.

The “Solar Energy Project” in Bangladesh, Egypt’s “Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Support Services Project Using ICT”, Jordan’s “Social Safety Net Project”, as well as the “North Power Station” and “Water Treatment projects in Khartoum” feature high amongst the listed success stories.

Prominent local and international business community figures and members of the diplomatic community and commercial counselors from IDB member countries are to attend the event.

Top
