Background

As part of its Work Program for 2023, the Independent Evaluation Department (IEvD) is planning to organize a dissemination event of the recently conducted Country Assistance Evaluation (CAE) in the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire (RCI) on October 18, 2023. 

It is envisaged to (i) present the findings from the Country Assistance Evaluation as well as lessons learned from Bank Group operations in the country; (ii) Present recommendations to improve the performance of the IsDB Group portfolio in RCI; and (iii) Engage in discussions with government officials, executing agencies and other technical and financial partners to ensure better coordination of our actions and identify areas of collaboration.

Scope of the Event

The objectives of the dissemination event are the following:

1. Present the findings from the Country Assistance Evaluation as well as lessons learned from Bank Group operations in the country;
2. Make recommendations to improve the performance of the IsDB Group portfolio in the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire;
3. Engage in discussions with executing agencies, line ministries, government officials and other technical and financial partners to ensure better coordination of our actions and identify areas of collaboration.

The activities to undertake are communication, catering, and technical and logistical activities to prepare the dissemination event.  Specifically, the following activities will be produced: (i) Advertisement (Printing of Banners, Kakemono, Posters, Standees etc.), Media coverage (RTI Television, NCI, LIFE TV, Written Press, Frat-mat, Other media outlets, and Online press), and other activities like Camera & photo shootings, Master of ceremonies etc..);  (ii) Catering (coffee break and Lunch);  (iii) Technical & Logistics Arrangement (Plenary room, Participating kits, Badges, Security and Vehicles); and other activities (Translation, Branding, and Decoration).
