Thessaloniki, Greece, 22 October 2026 - The Independent Evaluation Department (IEvD) of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) participated in the Evaluation Cooperation Group (ECG) Fall 2026 Meeting, held from 20 to 22 October in Thessaloniki, Greece.

The meeting brought together evaluation professionals from multilateral development banks to exchange knowledge, share institutional experiences, and discuss approaches to strengthening development evaluation. IsDB-IEvD’s participation reinforced its commitment to international collaboration, the advancement of evaluation practices, and the use of evidence and lessons learned to inform decision-making, improve development operations, and enhance development effectiveness.

Through its engagement with the ECG, IEvD continues to contribute to collective efforts to strengthen evaluation as a strategic tool for accountability, organizational learning, and better development results.
