The IsDB Scholarship Programs have contributed to human capital development in Member Countries and Muslim communities in Non-Member Countries by supporting academically qualified and financially needy students and scholars to pursue quality education and contribute to the development of their communities and countries.

Since the inception of the Scholarship Programs, IsDB has awarded scholarships to 19,897 students and scholars from 56 Member Countries and 66 Muslim communities in Non-Member Countries, with a male-to-female ratio of 70:30.

Our awardees have graduated from reputable universities in key development fields, advanced in their careers, assumed important professional responsibilities, and contributed to the socio-economic development of their countries and communities.

Regional Reach:

Of the total scholarships awarded, 43% were allocated to Muslim communities in Asia, followed by 35% to Member Countries, and 16% to Muslim communities in Africa. The remaining 6% were distributed among Muslim communities in Europe, Oceania, and North and South America.
