In #Cairo: we proudly organized 2nd #IsDB Digital Inclusion Technical Working Group (IDITWG) Meeting on 16 Jan. 2023. @IsDBG_EGYPT Manager, Ms. May Ali opened the event w/ high profile participants from World Bank, GIHub, GSMA, UNDP, UN-ESCAP & 11 IsDB MCs.

Dr. Al Jasser and The Minister of Finance signed an MoU on Soil Fertility Mapping Program that will help the Government map soil in major agricultural targeted areas and to further help with diagnosis and fertilizer recommendations. #IsDB

In #Banjul, Dr. Al Jasser held talks with H.E. Seedy K. M. Keita, the Minister of Finance and #IsDB Governor for The Gambia. Discussions centered on the ongoing IsDB-funded projects in the country & ways to further enhance the enduring partnership.

This section takes a closer look at the role IsDB plays in funding sustainable socio-economic growth in each of our 57 Member Countries.

The Board of Executive directors of the Bank, at its 344th meeting held on 13 February 2022, approved a total of EUR 297.67 million for 3 Member Countries under the Regional Hub of Dakar. These are: EUR 35.14 million for Phase 3 of the Hydro-Agricultural Development Project in Upper Sassandra and Fromager Regions in Cote d’Ivoire, EUR 24.30 million for Phase 2 of the Development of Technical and Vocational Education Project, Guinea, and EUR 238.23 million for the Construction of the Dakar – Tivaouane - Saint Louis Highway/ Mékhé - Saint Louis Project.
