Corruption, fraud, and other sanctionable practices undermine the core principles of development, eroding trust and impeding progress in projects and activities financed under IsDB Group mandate. IsDB Group is firmly dedicated to ensuring that all its operations and engagements adhere to the highest ethical standards, safeguarding resources intended for global development and equitable progress.

Central to this commitment is the Group Integrity and Ethics Department (GIED), formerly known as the Group Integrity Office, which was established in 2009. This pivotal department plays a critical role in the prevention, detection, and investigation of sanctionable activities within projects and activities financed by the IsDB Group.

The GIED is also responsible for prevention, detection, and investigation of IsDB Group staff misconduct.
