Bali, Indonesia, 14 September 2022 - The Resident Representative of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, Mr. Salah Jelassi, represented the Bank at the G20 Labour and Employment Ministerial Meeting (LEMM), which was held on 14-15 September 2022 in Bali, Indonesia. The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia, and was chaired by H.E. Madame Ida Fauziyah, Indonesian Minister of Manpower.

Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser, says the conflict in Eastern Europe is casting a shadow on the global economy, leaving no country unaffected, noting that the effects of this political crisis are multiple: food security challenges, higher energy and commodity prices, and disruptions in global trade, remittances, tourism, and capital flows.
