The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group will hold its 2026 Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan, from 16 to 19 June 2026.
Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group affiliates in cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank Group Business Forum (THIQAH), organized the “IsDB Group Private Sector Roadshow” in Baku, Azerbaijan, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AZPROMO).
H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, today received H.E. Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser, Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, for high-level talks aimed at deepening the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the IsDB Group ahead of a landmark gathering in the Azerbaijani capital.
The Islamic Development Bank has reaffirmed its strong partnership with the Government of Pakistan during a high-level mission country visit to Islamabad on 18-21 January 2026 led by IsDB Vice-President Operations, Dr. Rami Ahmad.
On the final day of his official visit to Pakistan (18-21 Jan. 2026), Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Vice President (Operations), Dr. Rami Ahmad, conducted a high-level site visit to the Mohmand Dam and Hydropower Project, a flagship national investment aimed at strengthening clean energy generation, water security, and climate resilience in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.
The approvals are aiming at strengthening economic resilience, improving access to essential services and advancing progress toward the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
At the opening of the 41st Ministerial Session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC), held in Istanbul under the Chairmanship of H.E. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Chairman of Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, H.E. Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser, reiterated the Group’s unwavering support for all member countries affected by conflicts and emergencies.
